About the Opportunity
Currently, we are seeking a full-time Outside Sales Representative to join our team in either Longview, WA, or Eugene, OR.
The successful candidate will be closing solution-based sales while meeting or exceeding targets on a year-by-year basis for our growing LINC Service Division.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Drive entire sales territory for prospecting and client meetings
- Achieve or exceed sales goals and metrics
- Communicate complex problems into simple explanations
- Deal with a complex sale and multi-level decision-makers
- Build and maintain rapport and positive working relations with the sales team to resolve problems, find opportunities, and maximize profits
- Prepare complete, clear, and concise reports, proposals, booking packages, paperwork, and CRM data
- Learn to identify customer needs by influencing the customer via a value proposition sale
- Develop the ability to qualify prospects, set effective appointments, follow up on leads and referrals and answer questions and objections
- Develop an understanding of the prospect's decision-making process, address customer concerns, and commit the prospect to a decision-making timetable
- Research the prospect's organization and influence the customer to buy through a thorough analysis of their organizational needs
- Climb ladders to access rooftop units when necessary
- Identify equipment conditions, survey mechanical systems, recognize project opportunities, and recommend maintenance requirements
More About You
To qualify, you will need 2+ years of sales experience, and a valid driver's license with clean driving abstract.
The following skills and experience will be strong assets:
- Prior HVAC experience
- Prior B2B sales experience
- Comfortable with cold-calling/prior cold-calling experience is required
- The ability to work comfortably with heights is required
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with a sales CRM program
- Strong presentation and negotiation ability
